The readings for today ring true for how people, including myself, have been feeling over these past nine months. We have never gone through an experience like COVID-19 before. We have been sequestered into our homes away from friends and family. We have felt weak in spirit and frightened over the fact that every day has brought something new and alarming. One can become completely overwhelmed with darkness.
But, God is there and will always be there to lead us out of that darkness. He has made the blind see, made the deaf hear, and has put love into every single person’s heart. During any difficult time, we need to look to prayer and to God. He will always be there. In dark times and in moments of pure joy. In God’s light, we will overcome anything that comes.
