Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus Santa Fe Council #2978 is a Catholic men’s organization dedicated to the service of God, Church and community.

The Knights were founded by Father Michael J. McGivney over 129 years ago in New Haven to unite men of the Catholic faith and to help families in need.  The Knights of Columbus offers the opportunity for men to live and grow in service to their faith community and families of Cheshire.

Nationally, the Knights have donated more than 150 million dollars to charitable causes and have provided more than 75 million hours of volunteer effort to those in need.

The Knights meet on the second Tuesday of every Month.

Knights of Columbus Scholarships

The Cheshire Knights of Columbus are once again offering scholarships to parish students planning to attend a Catholic High School or College this fall. A completed application, an essay not to exceed 250 words and the recommendation of their Pastor, Parochial Vicar or Religious is required. The application can be found here

Students unsure of their eventual choice of schools are encouraged to apply – then withdraw the application if a non-Catholic Institution is chosen. Deadline for submission is June 30th. For additional information call 203-271-1289 or 203-314-7519, and leave a message.

Men's Club

Our mission statement is simple: to provide a social environment for the men of the Parish to share in Christian fellowship.  We are a group of men who meet monthly to socialize and plan various events for the parish.  The Men’s Club provides an annual scholarship to a parishioner who is graduating high school and going on to college.  All men over the age of 18 are welcome to join us.

Women's Society

The purpose of the organization is to unite all parishioners, first, spiritually and second socially and to promote an interest in the welfare of its' members and the community at large, to serve as a medium through which the members of the Parish may speak and act as a unit in matters of public interest and to assist the Pastor in all his undertakings both spiritually and materially.
