MASS & ADORATION
The Holy Eucharist is the Sacrament which contains the body and blood, soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ under the appearances of bread and wine. We know that under the appearance of bread we receive also Christ's blood, and under the appearance of wine we receive also Christ's body; because in the Holy Eucharist we receive the living body of Our Lord, and a living body cannot exist without blood, nor can living blood exist without a body. (Baltimore Catechism)
Beginning Saturday, July 4th, we will offer the following Public Masses:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 7am & 9am
Tuesday & Thursday, 7am & 6pm
Saturday, 4pm & 5:30pm
Sunday, 7am, 8:30am, 10am, & 11:30am
Per State of Connecticut guidelines, occupancy is limited to 100 persons. Therefore, we will use a Sign-up Genius to stay within the allowable capacity.
Use the link below to the Sign-up Genius to review the available slots and sign up to attend Mass. We ask that you initially sign up for one Mass per week so everyone gets a chance to attend. Thank you!
Please remember that before, during and after Mass the following guidelines must be followed for the protection of you, your family, and others:
At ALL times, including entering & exiting the Church, you must practice Social Distancing by staying at least 6 feet from people who do not live in your household
You must use hand sanitizer (preferably your own since the parish has limited amounts) as you enter the Church
You must wear a mask at ALL times
You will be brought to a seat to be socially distant from others
There will be NO shaking of hands
Communicants will receive the consecrated host in their hand, step to the side, lower their mask, consume the host, replace their mask, and return to their pew
There is to be NO social gatherings inside the Church or in the parking lot at any time.
For those who do not feel comfortable attending live Mass, the Sunday Mass will be livestreamed at 10 AM.
As for Sunday Mass, the dispensation from the Sunday obligation previously granted to all Catholics of the archdiocese by the Archbishop has now been extended through Sunday, September 6, 2020. This will remain in effect even when the public celebration of Sunday Mass resumes, hopefully in the very near future.
We will be having Adoration in the Church on Fridays 1-2 PM until further notice. Just as with Mass, we are using Sign-up Genius to ensure we do not exceed 100 people.
